EOS-1 Test Shoot

Testing the EOS-1 I bought to see whether it works properly. Shot on Ilford Delta 400, developed in Ilford Microphen 1+3 for 26 minutes at 19ºC.

More Home Processing

These two Pan-F Plus 50 films were processed in 1+3 Microphen with approximately 30% over-development.

There is something very special about film, something which digital photography doesn't quite match. I can't put my finger on what the difference is, so I'll simply say that film has got "soul".

Corset Under Troubled Bridge

TLR shot from the "First Corset Shoot" (and more here).

Market Street, Manchester. 1960s lens, expired film.

Trees Silhouetted against Urban Glow

  • Lens from late-1800s
  • Camera from 1997
  • Film from 2003
  • Scanner from 2005
  • Exposure in 2011

The negative is actually of fairly high quality, but the scanner does it no justice as it is not a proper negative scanner. Still, the concept works and the expired film is usable.
