Finally I got the GrandStream 486 talking through the Orange Livebox to the FaelixAsterisk VoIP exchanges in Manchester. In the end it involved setting the DMZ of the Livebox to point to the GrandStream. Now a Manchester-prefix number from SIPgate calls straight through into La Troïka! Calls from the Faelix office are, of course, free — it’s just an extension, after all!
My Duret Free 180 is waxed and some minor damage to the tail of one of my Volkl P30s has been repaired, all again thanks to the good people at Caribou Sport. The laundry is done and dry. The phone line has been secured. The packing will soon be finished, and then the big tidy-up can get properly underway.
I’ve treated Holly and Chris to pizza for lunch: I didn’t want to do any more washing up. I’ve got plenty of fridge and bathroom to clean as it is.
Time for Sjek to leave and go to Geneva. I have a ton of chores to do: laundry, cleaning, dusting, washing, tidying, packing, sorting, storing. I hope I manage to get it all done in time for a few hours’ sleep tonight!
