Nude Practice

After the boudoir/art nude photography course earlier this week, I was keen to try and put into practice the techniques I'd learned. Sadly it's been a very busy few weeks for me at work, and I was lucky to get even a couple of hours to play. Of course, the only time I was free was at stupid o'clock on Saturday night, so the only "model" available was yours truly. My tense neck, and aching back and shoulder muscles (from long days working at a computer) are clearly on view in this picture.

I think I'm getting there, and with a bit more practice should be confident in my abilities to light a subject and capture something that I like.

Self-portraits remain very challenging.
