Today's photography course: learning about portable flash. Of course, I've been doing a fair bit of this learning on my own, but I came away with a few very useful tips and techniques.

Strobist information: 580ex II full power bounce 110cm umbrella silver/white at 9-o'clock to subject; bare 430ex II at 105mm 1/16 power with "skelton exotic sangria" gel at 1-o'clock.
Added aluminium foil at the back section of the DIY foamcore softbox (before the first diffuser) so as to stop so much light leakage. The main body does still leak a little, but it should be a trifling amount now.
