Taken in a forest near an iron-age settlement near Rödön.
I'd cycled about twenty miles before I found this location, headed into the woods and set about looking for "the spot". My clothes were already quite wet from being caught in the rain cycling up from Dvärsätt, and the rain would come and go during the half hour I was here trying to get these shots.
This was my first outdoor self-nude shoot, and bloody hell, was it fun!
Two YN-560 flashes on a radio trigger were placed inside this cryogenic freezer and set to full power. They serve as the dominant source of light in this image.
These two Pan-F Plus 50 films were processed in 1+3 Microphen with approximately 30% over-development.
There is something very special about film, something which digital photography doesn't quite match. I can't put my finger on what the difference is, so I'll simply say that film has got "soul".
