"Resolutions" for 2011

At the end of 2008 I made some resolutions for 2009:

  1. do more for the alternative music scene
  2. refrain from engaging in heated debate with those who do not understand my approach and are hurt by it
  3. remove the “brown paper bag” (resolve my personal self-esteem) which has been undermined

How did I do in 2009? Certainly I am pleased with what I achieved on the first two. I didn't make new resolutions for 2010 so that I could concentrate on carrying on with the third (most notably in improving my physical health). I think it is perhaps testament to the progress I've made that I have a nude photograph of myself as my Facebook profile picture!

Is it time for some new "resolutions"? I don't think so, but perhaps time for some "goals":

  1. spend more time learning to do new things
  2. continue to improve skills at photography and music
  3. build on health with more cycling, more gym, more yoga
  4. get back to archery
  5. closer working with more freelance-type professionals
  6. big change
