first time there, haven’t got my bearings, follow someone likely-looking out of Vauxhall station; Felix, originally from Germany; his third AntiChrist; we get hopelessly lost for fifteen minutes having taken the wrong exit from the Tube, but got there in the end
get dancing; get recognised; get chatting
leave around 03:30; get N136 all the way back to Ladywell
get in around 04:45; sleep
Saturday
09:00: wake
10:00: finish dismangling hair silliness
11:00: leave house
12:00: meet with Kadia near Archway; have lunch with her and Edward (many thanks, and it was delicious, guys!)
15:00: kill time in Camden; realise that Bean and Cup is no more; World’s End
16:00: meet with Anita and Sam; Japanese dinner; determine that none of my London friends want to go out, so decide to pass on Vagabonds
18:00: arrive at Islington Academy in time to see System:FX; also see Kommand and Kontrol (might have to check out some more), Client (text message comment to Blade: “Client’s bassline has found the resonant frequency of this pair of Cyberdog trousers’ crotch region. If only their music was a bit more inspiring they’d be my new favourite band”) and DAF
burger
Slimelight; huge surprise on both our faces as Graham walks through the door; have a great night dancing with friends
17:00: get aboard the wrong train (i.e. not the 17:35 to Manchester Piccadilly)
17:20: “whoa, Virgin Trains must’ve really improved their weekend service… their trains never used to run on time, and this one’s managed to leave early?! awesome!… uh… hang on…”
20:30: somehow I arrive home in Chorlton earlier than had I caught the right train
02:45: wake up
